US tennis retail is great if you know what you want and you’re hunting on price. It’s not great if you’re looking for the small, considered things — the overgrip a Japanese pro uses, the polo cut a little longer in the back, a racquet that’s sold in Tokyo but not Tampa.

We started BumpUpfor those things. A small selection, updated when we find something worth showing. We play. We pick. We write a sentence about why. That’s the whole job.

Everything we sell, we’d use ourselves. Most of it we already do. When we restock something, you’ll hear about it. When we sell out, we don’t backorder — we move on.
